ONE FRAME ONE TREE

At CASSONS FRAMING we believe that every business, even our little one, has an obligation to manage its environmental impact and be a good citizen.   

We try and do this everyday by reducing and recycling our waste wood, glass, cardboard and packaging. We turn the thermostats down, switched to LED lighting, insulate our workshop and work as efficiently as we can and with suppliers that have a similar ethos.  

Fundamentally though, our product is made from wood. So, although every frame we lovingly craft makes our customers and us very happy, the thought that a tree somewhere paid the price makes us a little sad.   

With that in mind we have committed to ensuring that for every frame we sell, a tree will be planted to replace it. 

In addition, our commitment is towards a net zero operation and so more trees will be planted to offset our carbon footprint for our energy use, including this website!    

As standard we choose FSC certified, sustainably sourced wood frames, but at the moment that is not always possible but Partnering with Tree-Nation has enabled us to contribute to reforestation across the globe.    

Through their carefully chosen partner programs we’ve already planted trees in India and Mozambique.  

With your help, and this small, everyday action we can hopefully make a difference, and tread a little more lightly on the earth.
